It understands that the needs of human beings and the requirements of the environment are interdependent and acknowledges this fact.
5. Co-operation
Sustainable development is possible only if the developed world and the developing worlds co-operate and the former support the latter in their endeavors whenever they can, through subsidies, for instance.Why do we need sustainable development?
